Central New York is no stranger to breweries, spirits, or golf courses-With 29  public golf courses within 29  minutes, the 8th largest craft brewery in the nation, and  a distillery producing award winning hand-crafted spirits using locally grown New York State corn. We’ve combined these into a three-day itinerary that’s sure to keep your taste buds exploding and  your golf game top-notch.

Day 1

-Head out for an early morning round of golf at the Rick Smith-designed Shenendoah Golf Course, located at Turning Stone Resort Casino (18 holes).

-Lunch at Upstate Tavern, on site at Turning Stone. Sample Upstate Lager, an exclusive brew by Saranac and satisfy your hunger with a New York-inspired menu.

-Still in the mood for golf? Try Sandstone Hollow, a beautiful par-3, 9-hole course in Verona.

-Dinner, gaming & harness racing at Turning Stone Resort Casino and Vernon Downs Casino Hotel.

-Head to Utica for overnight accommodations… options for whatever fits your needs best!

 Day 2

-Morning round at at Valley View Golf Course, an 18-hole Robert Trent Jones designed golf course owned & operated by the city of Utica.

-Lunch at Nail Creek Pub & Brewery, Varick Street, Utica. Indulge in uniquely crafted Belgian-style beers.

-Head to the F. X. Matt Brewery (Saranac Brewery) for a tour and tasting. Behind-the-scenes look at the brewing process, learn about the history of the brewery. Make sure to schedule a tour in advance!

-Stop by Bagg’s Square Brewing Company, located across from the historic Union Station in Utica. German-style beers & food with great outdoor seating and a beautiful indoor space.

-Dinner and cocktails at Ocean Blue Restaurant (roofdeck views!) and overnight in Utica.

Day 3

-Golf in Cooperstown early morning… we recommend the Leatherstocking Golf Course at the Otesaga (50 minutes south of Utica).

-Tour of Brewery Ommegang followed by lunch at Café Ommegang and a chance to sample beers on tap!

-Then visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.

-After, make your way home!
