Kirkland Art Center hosts Activist Stitches Quilts by thomas Knauer

A new exhibition at the Kirkland Art Center in Clinton features over a dozen beautiful quilts by Thomas Knauer. These activist quilts focus on a wide array of issues from gun violence to living with chronic illness. Most of the artwork is for sale and prices vary by piece. A free artist reception will be held on Saturday, January 29 from

1 pm to 4 pm and all are welcome. Masks are required. This exhibition will run through March 5, 2022. Everyone is welcome to visit the Kirkland Art Center Gallery to enjoy this and other exhibitions throughout the year. The Kirkland Art Center Gallery is open Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 am to 2 pm and Saturdays 1 pm to 4pm. All exhibitions are free and masks are required at this time.
