From Tap to Table: Experience the Wonder of NYS Maple Production

New York Maple Weekends 2026

Mark your calendars! The annual New York State Maple Weekends are back to celebrate the sweet tradition of pure maple syrup production. Join farms across the state on March 21-22 and March 28-29, 2026, from 10am to 4pm (check for individual farm exceptions) for a taste of agri-tourism at its finest.

What to Know Before You Go

Dress for the Weather

  • March in New York is unpredictable!
  • Farms are often rustic and muddy.
  • Dressing in layers, wearing closed-toe or insulated footwear, and wool socks are highly recommended.

Cost

  • Tours and maple product samples are offered free of charge at most sites (museums are the exception).
  • On-site pancake breakfasts, where available, may incur a per-plate cost that varies by location.

The Experience

  • Maple Weekend is a chance to visit the farms, see the process of sap cooking down to syrup, and taste a variety of delicious maple products made right there.

Spotlight on Oneida County

Local maple producers are eager and excited to welcome you to Oneida County for the 2026 New York State Maple Weekends.

Shaw’s Maple Products

  • Location: 7945 Maxwell Road Clinton, NY 13323
  • Highlights: Hosting their annual pancake breakfast from 9 am to 1 pm, featuring local farm fresh eggs, sausage, bacon, and plate-sized pancakes. Returning this year are fresh apple cider donuts with maple sugared coating and delicious maple ice cream bars! The sugarhouse and store will be open until 4 pm, and you can watch them boil the maple syrup while you eat. Admission to the sugarhouse and store is free; breakfast is an additional cost. Service dogs only.

Tibbits Maple

  • Location: 8874 Tibbitts Road, New Hartford, NY 13413, USA
  • Highlights: Experience the journey of pure maple syrup from tree, to tap, to table. They offer free tours and samples of their pure maple products. You can also purchase your favorites to take home. This event is rain or shine, so please be prepared for the weather!
