Root Farm Adventures

The Root Farm, a non-profit organization, is located on over 100 acres in Sauquoit, NY. This complex includes an Equine Assisted Therapy Center, horticulture center and various recreational programs.
The Root Farm has almost 20 years of providing care to people of all ages and abilities; the new equine center has allowed the organization to offer a wide variety of equine programming from adaptive horseback riding lessons to hippotherapy and vaulting. The Horticulture Center includes an educational greenhouse, hydroponic greenhouses, gardens, maple syrup production, honey production and a chicken coop.
The Root Farm's vision is to provide a sense of responsibility along with the new skills that will bring independence and self-worth to all participants. This innovative complex is a place for learning and growing for countless individuals and their families.
