Fall kicked off this October with Locktoberfest, hosted in Rome at Bellamy Harbor Park along the historic Erie Canal. Families and friends filled the park for an evening of live music, food trucks, free kayaking, a craft fair, farmers market, craft beer tasting, and fireworks. It was a wonderful event that brought the community together and even a few folks from out of state, as far as Wisconsin! This was the first Locktoberfest held in Rome, in the future we hope this will become an annual event to start off the season. If you missed out on Locktoberfest, have no fear- as we move into the Halloween season Oneida County is packed full of fall fun things for the entire family!
