Peterpaul Recreation Park in Rome located at 5615 Rome-New London Road (Rt 49W) has been putting smiles on the faces of summer fun-lovers for over 30 years. Whether it’s racing your kids on the action-packed go-karts, practicing your home run swing in the batting cages, polishing up your pool game in the arcade room, drenching your friends on the wacky water bumper boats, or seeing your toddler “push the pedal to the metal” on the kiddie karts, Peterpaul has something for everyone.

The go-karts at this inviting facility are clean and well-maintained and exciting side-by-side racing thrills can always be expected on this challenging road course. Double seat go-karts are available to accommodate an adult with small child and there’s even a separate kiddie track especially for the toddlers to race on their own.

The bumper boat ride is always a hit on warm summer days. The in-ground pool is crystal clear and each boating collision offers the probability of getting soaked to the skin so shorts and towels are wise articles to have on hand. The baseball and softball cages at Peterpaul allow all levels of players an opportunity to get good practice on their hitting game. Team rentals are available by the half hour and reservations are suggested.

The park has a large arcade room that is neatly decorated with a wide array of racing memorabilia and houses a unique variety of video and skill games. Birthday parties under the pavilions have become popular at the park and packages are available at reasonable rates to make your youngster’s special day one that they’ll always remember.
