Looking for something special? Since 1876 the Society has collected artifacts that tell the story not just of Oneida County, but of our nation since before the American Revolution. These include documents signed by several U.S. Presidents, including George Washington. Or, uncover your own story through our extensive genealogical collections and library. Directions
From Points North: Take State Route 5/8/12 South through Utica. Get off at Burrstone Road East/Utica College exit, bear right at the ‘Y’ at the end of the ramp. Go straight through next two lights, up approx. 1 mile, past Utica College and Faxton Hospital. Stay in left lane, turn left onto Genesee Street. Turn left at the fifth light onto Avery Place; OCHS is on the corner of Genesee and Avery.
From Points South: Take State Route 5/8/12 North toward Utica. Get off at Burrstone Road East exit, merging into traffic at the end of the ramp. Get in lefthand lane, go straight through one light, past Faxton Hospital. Stay in left lane, at second light, turn left onto Genesee Street. Turn left at the fifth light onto Avery Place; OCHS is on the corner of Genesee and Avery.
From Points East: Take Exit 31 off of I-90, get on State Route 5/8/12 South through Utica. Get off at Burrstone Road East/Utica College exit, bear right at the ‘Y’ at the end of the ramp.
