The Boonville Black River Canal Museum is located in Boonville at the junction of Main Street and State Route 12 on the banks of the original canal. The museum preserves, houses and displays artifacts from the canal era.

For more than 70 years, the Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute has earned a distinguished reputation for presenting world-class performing arts, cinema, children’s programs, educational activities, and special events to Central New York audiences.
Museum of Art, Performing Arts, School of Art, Gift Gallery and Museum-admission free. The art collection features more than 25,000 American 20th and 21th-century paintings, drawings, sculptures, 19th-century decorative arts, photographs, European paintings, and European and Asian works on paper.
Founded in 1876, the OCHS features museum exhibits, a historical and genealogical research library, weekly programs, and a large gift shop and bookstore.
The society is open Monday through Friday, 10AM to 4PM, all year. It will be closed weekends other than for prior appointments or special events.
RACC offers art classes, community programs, live music, seasonal festivals, summer camp, and four art galleries which are always open to the public free of charge.
