Park After Dark Ghost Tours

Posted by Oneida County Tourism on April 24 2017

The CasperCops will guide you through a Haunted Amusement Park. The tour begins with a brief walk through of the park while we discuss the legends of who still roams the park after death has taken them. Once the park closes at 10:00pm, the tour becomes an investigation. We enter the secured empty buildings and conduct a ghost hunt. Cameras, recorders and your participation are welcome and encouraged. You never know who will appear during the Park After Dark Ghost Tours.  Many participants have witnessed poltergeist activity, shadow figures appearing on photos and many personal experiences have been reported.

FullSizeRender 3Fall kicked off this October with Locktoberfest, hosted in Rome at Bellamy Harbor Park along the historic Erie Canal. Families and friends filled the park for an evening of live music, food trucks, free kayaking, a craft fair, farmers market, craft beer tasting, and fireworks. It was a wonderful event that brought the community together and even a few folks from out of state, as far as Wisconsin! This was the first Locktoberfest held in Rome, in the future we hope this will become an annual event to start off the season.
